Nilfisk-Advance is among the world’s premier providers of
high-performance industrial and specialty vacuums. The company’s vacuums have
been selected by the U.S. Postal Service for biohazard collection, by the U.S.
Department of Defense for hazardous material collection, and most recently for
asbestos collection at Ground Zero.
JD Edwards Implementation Problem:
The Nilfisk environment is implemented with multiple ERP
systems, one being JD Edwards ERP. The current Online
Shopping did not have support for the JD Edwards ERP system.
Nilfisk requested that Twin Cities Solutions come in and implement
this ERP into their current architecture.

into the existing architecture of the application.
Depending on the web site accessed, the backend would
use the correct ERP system to display products and allow
users to purchase products. This was all done with
minimal changes to the existing ERP systems.

Results Nilfisk's online shopping cart now supports their JD Edwards
ERP System Upgrade Problem: Nilfisk was upgrading from BAAN 4
to BAAN LN. The upgrade resulted in warranty features of their application to no
longer work. Solution:
Twin Cities solutions implemented the necessary BAAN changes which
allowed the Warranty program to continue to function properly. Changes to
Oracle packages and to the application were done to achieve the desired functionality.
